Who we are
MS Dental (Family Practice) runs clinics in Cardiff, Fletcher and Mayfield. Dr Monika Shah is the principal dentist, and one practice manager looks after all three.
Mayfield Dental Care was already an established practice on Maitland Road before it became part of the group. It kept its name. For people coming down from Medowie it is the closest of the three, and it sits on the main road into Newcastle, so an appointment can fit around work or school in the city.

That is the group's motto. At Mayfield it shows up in small ways, such as longer or grouped appointments when that is clinically suitable.
Open Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Closed on weekends. Street parking is close by.

Principal DentistBDS, 2006
Monika moved to Australia in February 2007 and sat her Australian Dental Council exams here. She leads the clinical team across all three clinics and still books herself into courses around a full patient list.

After graduating in Cairns, Nikhil spent two years on placements in Darwin, Mackay, Cairns and Townsville, seeing a lot of patients from rural and regional towns. He joined MS Dental in 2020.
DentistTrained in Adelaide
Nick worked in rural South Australia and on the Central Coast before joining the team in 2025. He knows some people get anxious in the chair, and he likes to get to know his patients.
Oral Health TherapistBachelor of Oral Health Therapy, University of Sydney, 2021
Natasha first qualified in Singapore, at Nanyang Polytechnic in 2016, and worked in the public dental service. She joined MS Dental in May 2025 and looks after children's appointments at Mayfield.
With MS Dental since 2017. She started as practice manager at Cardiff and now manages all three locations.
All clinicians are registered with the Dental Board of Australia through AHPRA.
